We are now looking for a Maintenance Engineer at Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery AB located in Finspång, Sweden. The group is responsible for preparing the technical scope for the preventive maintenance on our customers gas turbines and now we are looking for you who would like to become our new colleague. The challenge
* Together with a team of sales, project manager, and delivery coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring that the maintenance of the gas turbines conforms to our maintenance plans and the customers' needs.
* In the project team you act as the technical subproject manager and
Prepare the technical scope of the specific maintenance project
Specify parts to be exchanged as preventive maintenance
Specify consumables, tools and instrument needed
Write recommendations to the customer about modifications and upgrades that can be done during the overhaul
Prepare technical scope for sold modifications and upgrades
Collect the documentation needed for the field service personal to perform the overhaul
Be back office support for the field service personal during the overhaul
Ensure that SAP and other IT systems are updated with correct information after the performed overhaul
* You will be responsible for the technical questions coming from the customer and issues within the project that pops-up in-between overhauls in order to have them solved, if needed with the help of the back-office engineering teams.
* You will visit our customers to talk about the planned and/or performed maintenance that will be/has been performed by our mechanical- and commissioning engineers. Expected travel days up to 10 days a year.
* You will be a problem solver who conducts internal and external meetings to coordinate and solve the customers' technical issues.
Who are you?
* You have a bachelor's degree in engineering with a few years' experience of engineering and/or maintenance or other technical background together with longer experience.
* Experience of gas turbines or other large rotating machinery is meritorious.
* You are good at planning and structuring your work and can handle multiple projects in parallel.
* In this role you will have a big network around you so being able to communicate well in English, both in writing and speech is necessary.
* The computer is our tool, so you need good computer skills.
