Position: Maintenance and Repair Engineer
Department: Global Service Network / Field Quality
Reports to: Head of Field Quality

Purpose of position
In the role of Maintenance and Repair Engineer, you are part of the Fleet Management department and its Fleet Quality team.
The position will contribute to the company's overall execution of its business plan by:
Drive the continual development and maintenance of the ECM and MMS systems to ensure an up-to-date, effective, and efficient system supporting the products and services handled in the network and in the end also providing high-quality data for analysis and development.
Maintaining and developing an effective process for documentation, release, and communication of instructions in the maintenance system (ECM/MMS).
Document system development in the form of user guidelines, manuals and training material to guarantee correct and efficient use of the system throughout the network.
The role also encompasses providing updated and high-quality repair and service instructions (WCT) for the maintenance system (ECM/MMS) based on approved maintenance data and feedback from the users.
Responsibilities
The following general duties and responsibilities apply:
§ BAM and link towards the IT development organization for system improvements of ECM/MMS. Coordinating development needs based on user feedback, products, and services development and the strategic agenda.
o Collect development cases of importance for the network
o Request business cases and set priorities for improvements
o Drive the initiatives to completion in the system development plan
§ Super user and Tester for ECM/MMS
§ Ensure ECM/MMS system manuals and training for the user community and actively participate in the development and implementation of these.
§ Continually monitor and analyze data in the ECM/MMS system and drive initiatives to ensure continual quality and useability improvement of the data together with the Fleet Quality team.
§ Provide data mining and analysis of data in the ECM/MMS system.
§ Document released maintenance data as verified, effective, and efficient work practices in Work Card in ECM/MMS.
§ Continually review and update Work Card instructions based on feedback and development from the Global Service Network and other sources.
Authority
Approve expenditure is according to Envirotainers delegation and approval limits.
Demands on the position
Professional capabilities
General understanding of technology and technical repairs
Understanding of how user needs/requirements are translated into system development requests
Understanding of system development and data maintenance principles
Analytic mindset with capability to handle large volumes of complex data
Independent execution and prioritization of multiple tasks and priorities
International communication skills in English (spoken and written)
Technical writing skills for explaining repair/maintenance activities in a clear way to users with varying experience and language skills.
Fluency in Office tools (primarily Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.))

Relevant work experience and education
• Relevant university/college degree (bachelor's degree or equivalent) preferably within the technical field.
• Documented experience of technical documentation and/or instruction
• Experience of system development and/or maintenance
from a business/user perspective
• Experience from analysis of large volumes of complex data is meriting.
• Hands-on repair skills or workshop experience seen as beneficial
• Knowledge from EASA and FAA Part 145 regulation.
Location
• Based at Envirotainer's office in Rosersberg.
• The role will require occasional travelling.
