Dellner Couplers in Vika, south of Falun, is an expansive and international company that delivers sustainable, innovative and high-quality products and services to train operators and train builders worldwide. Our products consist of couplers, gangways and crash management systems for the railway industry.
As a Main Planner you are responsible for the planning of our New Sales projects in Vika. Ensuring on time delivery and that the supply is effectively balanced against demand during the planning horizon. You collaborate globally, both internally and externally, with customers and coworkers cross functionally. In the role as Main Planner communication is a success factor, and you ensure great customer service while optimizing the use of capacity and inventory.
You will be part of an entrepreneurial and diverse team working in a rapidly changing environment, with full focus on improving our way of working and optimizing our supply chain! This role will be based in Vika, Falun.
Your role
You are a senior member within the planning/logistic department and report to the Global Logistic Manager. You work closely with the Project manager, Sales representative and Operations manager regarding supply chain for NS-projects.
The role as Main Planner includes monitoring orders from customers, planning manufacturing orders for finished goods and ensuring timely deliveries. The responsibility also includes analyzing inventory levels, strategy for safety stock and ensuring that the ERP system is properly configured and set up with the right master data. You also play an important part in the S&OP-process where we balance the supply and demand.
We assume
• You have a BSc or MSc in engineering or Economics, preferably with focus on logistics and production planning. Alternatively, you have several years of relevant experience from production and planning.
• You understand supply chain planning parameters and master data
• You have very good communication skills. You will handle a large number of customers and stakeholders.
• You are fluent in both English and Swedish.
• You are a fast learner, service-minded, goal oriented and flexible with great cooperation skills.
• You have a great sense of responsibility and take ownership.
• You have experience and knowledge in M3 or other ERP-system.
• You prioritize and make decisions efficiently and according to business needs.
Preferably you have experience in managing and developing solutions within Supply Chain.
Success factors
• Experience in participating in the S&OP process
• Experience working with the interfaces within the End to End supply chain, with manufacturing and between production site and sales
• In this role, you need a large work capacity and be able to plan the work by yourself.
• You get motivated by improving our practices and methods to be more efficient.
• You have strong numerical and analytical skills.
