hela Sverige Volvo Treasury AB is responsible for all treasury activities within the Volvo Group, such as cash management development issues, global funding and management of all interest bearing assets and liabilities.
In it's role as an in-house bank, the company co-ordinates and handles all foreign exchange trading and also trades on its own account in money, foreign exchange, and equity markets. The head quarters of Volvo Treasury AB is in Gothenburg, with subsidiaries in the US and in Singapore.
Publiceringsdatum2008-02-13Dina arbetsuppgifterThe position is part of the Economic Research department, which supports the Volvo Group with macro economic analyses and forecasts of regions where the Volvo Group is strategically positioned.
The Economic Research department reports to the head of Treasury and Trading, Volvo Treasury Group. The Treasury Group consists on offices in Singapore, Greensboro and Gothenburg.
• Perform macro economic analyses, mainly focusing on Emerging Markets
• Through written reports and oral presentations distribute the analyses throughout the Volvo organisation
• Play an active role in FX and interest rate forecasts
• Be responsible of updating and developing the Economic Research home page
• Being proactive in developing Economic Research products and services
The position is based at the Volvo Treasury Head Quarters at Lilla Bommen, Gothenburg.

You are expected to have the following qualifications:
• Qualified analytical skills
• Excellent English, both written and spoken is mandatory
• Highly developed communication skills
• Knowledge on Emerging Markets is highly advantageous
• Ability to work both independently and in a team
• Advanced PC skills are meriting
• Econometrics knowledge is advantageous
