We now have a need to strengthen our team with an experienced Machine Operator, specialized in plastic and paper industry targeting our coatings and Design & Architect customers. Other projects include textile and leather measurements, specifically targeting our automotive customers in EMEA and China.Job typically means that you will help a coatings customer project with the aim to produce a fandeck where your role would be to measure and ensure colour quality and colour notation in existing fandeck and the new production based on the NCS Colour system in our colour quality instrument lab. Another project can be a car manufacturer, which could be customer of our digital platform CAPQ. There you would help the customer to ensure colour quality in different parts produced by different producers and typically in materials such as plastic, textile and leather.The Machine Operator is expected to be well versed in the industry and the ecosystem, being an experienced resource in colour measurement and independently operating the measurement instrument. The Machine Operator will interface primarily with the sales, product management and colour specialist engineering teams, but also with other colleagues.Key tasks:It is expected that the Machine Operator is managing between 1-4 customer measurement projects at the same time, depending on project [PH1] size and complexity. Primary focus is on Europe and China.Supporting Product Packaging and Product Marketing together with the Product Manager and the Marketing team to ensure that the offering is reflecting the industry 's needs and requirements as well as make it visible to the market with the purpose to drive sales.Participate in customer [PH2] meetings and workshops.Travel to customers and partners from time to time. You are:· Expected to have worked as a Machine Operator 2+ years and especially within the field of paper and plastic industry and/or textile and leather products.· Mainly used to work operational being an independent and self-motivating person.· Quality and accuracy in your work is important.· Person who likes to communicate with customers.· Skilled in Microsoft Office.· Experience specifically in the field of colour measurement is a plus.Language skills are important, especially English and Chinese.
