We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join a product team within Supply Chain. The assignment involves developing, maintaining, and improving AI/ML solutions in a modern cloud-based environment. The consultant will work closely with product teams, engineers, and stakeholders to build scalable and reliable machine learning solutions that support business-critical processes.
The role requires a strong combination of software engineering and machine learning expertise, with involvement throughout the entire AI/ML lifecycle—from design and development to testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain machine learning solutions in production environments.
Participate in all phases of the AI/ML development lifecycle.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in existing AI/ML solutions.
Design and implement appropriate testing strategies for AI/ML applications.
Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams to define requirements and technical solutions.
Write user stories and technical documentation to ensure transparency and clarity within the team.
Apply coding standards, design patterns, and software engineering best practices to build maintainable and scalable solutions.
Contribute to technical decision-making regarding tools, frameworks, and implementation approaches.
Support MLOps practices, model deployment, monitoring, and maintenance activities.
Work in an Agile development environment and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Mandatory RequirementsRelevant academic degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, alternatively equivalent professional experience.
Strong programming skills in Python.
Solid understanding of software development principles, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and methodologies.
Experience working with Git and version control systems.
Experience with MLOps practices and machine learning operationalization.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-based development.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Ability to independently analyze and resolve technical challenges.
Preferred QualificationsExperience with modern AI/ML frameworks and libraries.
Experience with cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.
Knowledge of software testing methodologies and quality assurance practices.
Experience working with multiple programming languages and technology stacks.
Experience building and maintaining production-grade machine learning solutions.
Understanding of supply chain, logistics, or related business domains.
