We are looking for a hard-working team player to join our committed team of Lunch Supervisors.
The role includes supervising the children during lunch, being part of our kitchen staff team, supporting eating and playtime activities. Our ideal candidate must have good interpersonal skills, be trustworthy, reliable, punctual and confident working with children.
Your day-to-day duties could include:
preparing and serving food, being aware of dietary requirements and allergies
organising and cleaning lunch room and kitchen areas
encouraging good behaviour and manners
supervising children in the playground (or indoors if wet weather)
comforting children who are upset
dealing with minor injuries like cuts, grazes and bruises
organising games
The job can involve a lot of standing and walking, both inside the school and outdoors in the playground, often in cold weather. There may be some heavy lifting.
