About the position
We are currently looking for a LTE Baseband System Expert to our Wireless Baseband Team at Huawei's Kista office, to take on the challenge to develop the multi-standard signal processing solution. You will be responsible for the Baseband system and architecture for the next generation baseband. You are the key member of the baseband system and architectural team for wireless baseband systems (LTE, UMTS, GSM?) on multiple processors. You are going to work closely with other baseband members, such as algorithm developers, SW designer and hardware designer. You will be responsible to define requirements, drive technical studies and coordinate works between different teams. The work will be done in very close cooperation with the Huawei wireless organization in Shanghai.
Qualifications and experience
To be successful in this role the candidate should have more than 8 years industrial experience in wireless baseband development and strong background in wireless communications, i.e. familiar with 3G and LTE and good knowledge on PHY Layer;
The candidate should have at least 2 years experience in LTE baseband system design and in-depth knowledge in baseband algorithms and implementation of baseband.
A Bachelor, Master Degree or higher in computer science, EE, wireless communication or equivalent background is required.
Skills requirements
The candidate should have a high focus on delivering high quality work. Prior experience from international and multicultural work is preferred. As we are a global company the candidate must be able to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
Good social and networking skills to support teamwork in project groups as well as ability to work independently.
Location
This is a fulltime position at our R&D office in Kista, Stockholm, Sweden.
