Logistics project managers to the automotive industry

Duties and skills:
• Lead the logistics project team and secure logistics deliveries at each gate of the Global Development Process (DVP)
• Identify project specific stakeholders and manage project requirements based on stakeholder demands
• Responsible to secure that logistics targets and strategies are included in the project prerequisites and implemented
• Evaluate and calculate on different concept proposals
• Consolidate a complete logistics picture on o Project resource demand o Project status report o Project time plan o Project budget o Project PAP (Project Assurance Plan) o Project risks and risk response planning
• Be a coordinator for all internal logistics activities (development, preparation and execution) and supplier implementation * Support/Coordinate, follow up and challenge commonality between sites
Personal skills:
• University education (M.Sc. in Logistics / Engineering or equivalent experience) * Experience of manufacturing / logistics and project management within Volvo Group
• Experience from the Global Development Process (DVP) * Knowledge regarding Volvo Production System Other competencies:
• Great personal drive / networking skills * Leadership capabilities, in line with PM pipeline level 3
• Structured, analytic and flexible
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Holistic view * Understanding of the typical trade-offs within Supply Chain management
