We are now looking for a Logistics Project Manager – Supply Chain, to join our Logistics team in Lund.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The Logistics Project Manager will be managing and supporting Global Supply Chain projects.
You will be analyzing and finding new efficient logistics flows to allow us to serve new markets, new solutions and in preparation for higher volumes.
In your role as a Logistics Project Manager you are comfortable in working with all areas relating to Supply Chain as well as Import and Export worldwide. You will work closely to other teams such as Global Sales Teams, Supply Team, Customs Team, the Configuration and Logistics Centers Worldwide as well as the Process development Team and the IT department. Externally, you will work with Freight Forwarders, Transport and Logistics services providers. You are an experienced project manager and are confident and knowledgeable of Global Organizations and understand the big picture.
This position requires approximately 30 days of travelling per year.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
To thrive within this role, you are a driven individual, are committed and enjoy taking own initiatives. The right candidate has a university degree in Logistics, Engineering or Economics and have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a similar global assignment. You are able to see the big picture but you also have an appreciation for details.
You have experience within the following areas:
• Global logistics
• Project Management
• IT-projects within Logistics
• Inventory Management
• Lean in Supply Chain
• Commercial knowledge of different markets
You are analytical, a good communicator and an advanced Microsoft Office user. You are fluent in Swedish and English (both spoken and written), other languages are an advantage but not a requirement.
We also believe you are open minded, detailed oriented and are a flexible person that works well in teams. You have excellent presentation skills.
THE AXIS LOGISTIC TEAM
The Axis Logistics team has the main responsibility for movements from the different configuration centers from Lund, Hungary, Czech Republic and USA to our customers worldwide. We are responsible for negotiation of all Axis transport agreements worldwide and finding solutions for a more efficient delivery of our products globally, based on our service and lead time requirements.
Internally our main interfaces are within the following departments: Order, Customs, Shipping, Supply as well as other staff within the different Configuration Logistic Centers (worldwide), other Axis Sales Companies worldwide and Distributors. This position has several international interfaces but also has local responsibility.
