Your future challenge
The Logistics Project Manager (LPM) is a staff function reporting to Director of Operation Support. You are a resource for the production sites for wheeled, handheld and electric products within Husqvarna Division and located mainly in Europe but also in Asia and Brasil. As LPM you are driving and taking part in various projects concerning planning and logistics within the area of responsibility. The projects could be part of global corporate initiatives or could be local, large or small projects.
Your role
You are responsible for identifying improvement areas and support the Plant Managers in change. The work includes development of standards, creation of tools, facilitate benchmarking and knowledge exchange between the production sites.
As LPM you also work closely with Purchasing and Demand & Supply to improve the supply chain. In cooperation with the IT-department you also take part in the development of sufficient IT-solutions.
The role requires a solid theoretical knowledge to be able to analyze and improve current processes. To be successful you need to enjoy a demanding international environment and be able to influence people, create commitment, coordinate and educate.

Educational requirements
Master of Science in Engineering, orientation towards:
• Production Management
• Logistics
• Production Planning
• Material Management
Other qualification requirements
3-5 years experience within one or more of the following fields:
• Production planning / MRP
• Material Management
• Internal logistics
• Inventory Management
• Project Management
• Lean production
• Lean in Supply Chain
• IT-projects within Manufacturing
• English - fluent in spoken and written
• Ability to travel 30 %
• Good presentation skills
Location Huskvarna, Sweden
