We are now looking for a Logistics Officer!
Description
The Logistics Departments, that you will be part of, is incorporated in a bigger unit inside the Manufacturing Organization. As a Logistics Officer you will be part of the Logistics team that is responsible for plan and book all transports from/to suppliers/factories.
We also participate in international projects and your position will complement existing skills and resources, and will be reporting to the Logistics Manager.
The role of the Logistics Officer involves:
• Handle the daily operations
• Coordinating transportation, both domestic and international
• Solve unplanned transport disruptions that normal flow can be maintained
• Participate in the transport RfQ process and contract carriers
• Participate in system implementation projects
• Participate in Logistics development projects
• Support our Purchasing department with logistics cost calculations
• Monitor, prevent and manage transport related disruptions and escalate within the organization
• Report KPI data
• Handle deviations: invoices, goods receiving, logistics quality
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
• Secondary or post-secondary education in logistics or equivalent experience
• Experience of working with transportation, minimum 2 years
• Good knowledge of IT-systems for logistics (experience from SAP MM, TM and/or GTS is meritorious)
• Experience of working with foreign carriers and suppliers
• Good experience of MS Office, especially in Excel and Power Point
• English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
