Hitachi ABB Power Grids, High Voltage Products, is renowned worldwide as a specialist for power transmission and distribution. The Service Hub Business Line Europe includes eleven High Voltage Service Units promoting services on the installed base in the local markets, four of them additionally acting as Product Service Centers for their respective products with the global responsibility for the service portfolio, training and certification as well as technical and sales support of the local Hitachi ABB Service Centers.
In the role of Logistics & Quality Manager you will be part of the high voltage product service center in Ludvika Sweden, implementing a solid process for Logistics & Quality aligned with our HV Service strategy. Managing a group of 5 people within purchasing, material handling and quality.
Your responsibilities
Implement our strategy in the fields of Logistics, supply chain management and quality
Managing our stock with a clear contribution to reduce overall Net Working Capital of the Unit
Set up a structure for internal and external purchasing (both from feeder factories and external suppliers)
Overall control on yearly material expenditure and related resources
Quality control and evaluation of suppliers
Managing customer complaints and allocating resources for that purpose
Implement our yearly quality plan, including external audits, revisions of instructions and customer audits
Developing the skills of the newly created Logistics & Quality group
Your background
Preferably you have a university degree in Logistics, Administration or Engineering
You have at least 5 years of experience in similar positions, mainly focus on procurement and logistics
At least 3 years of experience on a management position
Understanding on the Power Grids business is a merit
Fluency in English is required, while understanding of Swedish is a merit
