Logistics Manager, MEENA
Logistics Manager is responsible for supporting the MEENA sales teams by providing necessary information regarding the production line and the logistics issues. This position will operationally cover Market company and importers of Hub Middle East, East and North West Africa (MEENA) countries; mainly Morocco, Turkey, Iran, Saudi Arabia, UAE and surrounding countries, which is a part of Sales Area Volvo Trucks International (VTI).
You will report to the Commercial Trucks Director, MEENA.
Main responsibilities
Secure & Consolidate order planning and logistics for overall hub MEENA
Hands-on managing the daily process of order to delivery for MEENA importer markets
Stock management (defining way of working, KPI, actively manage the stock),
Informing the related parties about the current status of the units by daily follow-up of the units in transit.
Uptading the legal knowledge about foreign trading and customs regulations in order to handle the import license and warranty certificates of the products by continuously following up official publications and articles.
Preparing weekly and monthly reports to Management Team and Sales Statistics reports to sales team.
Preparing and issuing local invoices for the importers, dealers and direct sales customers.
Coordinating import process of the trucks with finance and customs agency.
Maintaining qualitative accounting information flow by close work with Accounting Dep.; controlling, payments, accounting reports, exchanges rates, cheques, informing relates parties regularly.
Good management of the hub MEENA demand planning process in synch with Volvo Trucks S&OP process
Improved KPIs for:
• Inventory
• Lead time
• Delivery precision
• Logistics costs
• Forecast accuracy
Qualifications
Extensive experience in Logistics, Demand, and Order to Delivery processes of Volvo Trucks.
Strong multi-cultural communication skills and extensive network within the group
Business oriented mindset
High proficiency in written and spoken English
Good knowledge of Volvo Trucks systems
