We currently have the following job opening;
Logistics Manager
As a logistics manager you will be responsible for the overall supply chain management. You will also organize and monitor the storage and distribution of goods. The goal is to manage the entire order cycle to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction. In addition you will be the responsible line manager with the assignment to lead and develop the team.
We are looking for a person who has a genuine interest in leadership and people.
You have excellent experience and knowledge in lean production, i.e. 5S, continues improvement, standardized work, VSM, and other tools that will help in developing flows and processes. You will need to understand laws, rules and regulations that are related to the work environment and how to follow them.
Responsibilities
• People management responsibilities for direct reports including leading and developing the team.
• Strategically planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services.
• Secure that safety regulations are followed according to local legislation
• Report decided KPI: s as shipping status, WH inventory etc.
• Drive and support in change management
• Directing, optimizing and coordinate a full order cycle
• Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipment
• Supervise, coach and train the engineers and warehouse workforce
• Meet cost, productivity and timeline targets
• Keep an excellent structure of warehouse and inventory
• Participate and give budget input when required for investments and Business operations. Administrate rapports and follow up statistics.
Competences needed to be successful as a Logistics Manager:
• Appropriate academic qualifications and/or relevant work experience from a similar position
• Excellent knowledge and experience from change management and lean production
• Leadership skills with ability to inspire, drive, motivate and coach direct reports; employees.
• Ability to build high performing and diverse team with a strong team spirit.
• Cultural awareness and interest in diversity
• A flexible mindset with ability to lead change and development and take decisions
• A creative and analytical mindset to handle complex problems
• Ability to communicate clearly and be perceptive
• Ability to inspire and enable actions
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in process development
• Good knowledge in Microsoft Office programs
• Customer focused
• Excellent networking skills
• You are used to work with business control and economics
