The group Transport Solutions is a competence center for service research and logistic concept development. By this focus we support the Volvo groups? vision and soft product growth goals.
In the logistics area we use our expertise to enhance the internal Volvo Group logistics flows as well as designing future services around logistics. We cover the whole supply chain, from suppliers into and through our plants and out to the customer. With this experience we can design new services that strengthen the Volvo group core products. We also participate successfully in national and international research programs involving universities, research institutes and other companies.
We are working with all aspects of providing customer-centric solutions that create superior lifetime value to our customers, and thereby will grow the Volvo Group?s business profitably.

Job description:
We are looking for a logistics expert with solid knowledge of material flows in automotive plants with a vision to work with enhancements in the complete supply chain. The nature of the projects will range from customer projects to research projects, both national and international.
The work tasks will range from giving expert opinions, coaching and training customers to running and managing projects in your specific area of operation.
Qualifications:
You should have a Masters Degree in the area of logistics or supply chain management. You should have at least 4 years of working experience in this domain.
You should have entrepreneurial skills, a holistic perspective and be target oriented. Customer focus, networking attitude and a global mindset is important as we develop services close to Volvo customers all over the world.
We believe that you are flexible and open minded with the ability to work independently but also to act as a good team player. You have project management experience and have good presentation and communication skills.
Well written and spoken English is required
