Logistics Engineer
Lynk & Co is now looking for a Logistics Engineer. As logistics engineer you will work with the development and operations of the distribution chain from factory all the way out to the end customer, creating processes, defining needs towards IT and defining operations documents. There will also be some operational tasks related to event and test vehicle logistics as well as planning of the European stock.
The department has the responsibility to handle car distribution within the European market.
Within Logistics at Lynk & Co you will be a part of a lean and creative team, building new logistics solutions from scratch with a responsibility all the way out to the end customer. We encourage you to think outside the box with an open and challenging mind set.
The position is based in Gothenburg, Sweden, with an international responsibility and some traveling will be required.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Develop intercontinental and regional flows and network implementation
- Develop processes from stock and processing to distribution.
- Drive system and integration requirements, from a business perspective
- Manage inventory and pipeline availability, operational and tactical
- Define logistics requirements in new product and service projects
- Plan and support event and test vehicle logistics
Profile and Background
- Passion for logistics and, preferably, finished vehicle logistics
- University degree in relevant area
- Extensive experience in logistics development and operations, 5 years minimum.
- Experience in TMS applications and requirement settings is a merit
- Strong drive and ambition
- Strong customer focus
- Driven problem solver who takes initiatives and responds to changing priorities
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English - both orally and written
- Ability to travel
