hela Sverige Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Logistics Developer to join our bold, excellent and passionate team in Stockholm.
In joining us you will play an important part from the very start, building large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play a significant role in the transformation to a carbon free society.
As Logistics Developer you would focus on supporting the process of designing, procuring and implementing the set-up of cell logistics from our giga-factory "Northvolt Ett" in Skellefteå. You will also collaborate with Northvolt Zwei in Germany to make sure that all Northvolt solutions are in synergy. As a key player in the Logistics Team you will have the opportunity to build and procure sustainable logistical solutions from scratch, both for Northvolt's operations in Sweden, as well as beyond. You will be based in Stockholm at Northvolt's head office and report to Dora Sebestyen, Logistics Manager.
We:
In broad terms, Team Logistics is responsible for everything that moves. Our mission is to support Northvolt's growth and expansion with logistical expertise and to create a robust logistical framework, within which Northvolt units can operate.
You:
Generally speaking, we believe that you already have a reasonable level of experience within logistics and transportation.
For a few years now, you have designed and developed logistical networks at an automotive OEM or at a Tier1 supplier. You have excellent understanding of automotive customers' high level of requirements.
In your career you have been exposed to the execution, and follow up of international shipping across different transport modes.
You are familiar with the administrative side of logistical process, documentation required to despatch, clear customs, receive and store cargo.
You have supported or led logistics projects around warehouse sizing and/ or optimisation. You can crunch data and have strong analytical skills.
Experience in shipping and handling of DG (dangerous goods) and familiarity with applicable laws and regulations within transportation and warehousing will be considered of advantage. Ideally you also have good understanding on how to use, or even better set up, different systems and modules (ERP/WMS/TMS) to support logistical planning and execution.
When joining Northvolt, you would primarily be focused on establishing the framework for Northvolt Cell logistics. When it comes to cell logistics related questions, you would be the main interface for all our customers and internal stakeholders. It will be your responsibility that customer requirements are evaluated, negotiated, planned for and translated into actions across wider Logistics Team and other Northvolt stakeholders.
We are looking for a great team player who wants to be a part of building a world class logistics department at Northvolt. Your assignments will go beyond the outbound operation, as you will be supporting the colleagues across all locations in planning, design, and procurement of logistical solutions.
As Northvolt develops, so will you and your range of responsibilities.
In your job you will:
manifest the mindset of being bold, passionate and excellent towards our customers in each and every interaction
act as Logistics Project Manager across all the different Customer Cell Development processes towards all internal and external stakeholders
support the factory design process with logistics input
execute and/or delegate tasks within the Cells and Battery Systems Logistics team or wider Northvolt Logistics Team,
manage, implement and follow up customer requirements in an organized way
together with LSPs and Northvolt colleagues draft and develop Standard Operational Procedures, as well as other standards, requirement sheets and processes ensuring logistically optimal and safe operation,
collect, manage, organise and analyse logistical data, seeking improvement possibilities,
continuously improve overall logistics operations of Northvolt
Nonetheless, your assignments will go beyond operation as you will be supporting the colleagues across all locations in planning, design and procurement of logistical solutions.
The person we are looking for is cheerful, positive, curious, humble, creative and eager to learn. You will get the chance to have a real impact on our success story in Sweden (to start with) and see the results of your work. Our organisation requires and values great self-discipline and a natural talent to make things happen. The Logistics Developer is a vital member of the Logistics Team and wider Supply Chain Organisation and key to Northvolt's mission to enable the future of energy.
