Your workplace
Support and Services, a business area of Saab, supplies a wide range of services and integrated support solutions to customers in defence and on commercial markets for cost-efficient support of systems and platforms throughout their life cycle.
The Logistics department is part of the Ground Support Services division. The department is located primarily in Arboga, and is also represented on customer's assignments in twenty locations across the country. The department works with large and small projects on a national and international level where the core competence is in the field of Supply Chain Operations. The department has approximately 150 employees.
We are now seeking a Logistics developer for our project office located in either Arboga or Linköping or by agreement.
Your role
We are looking for someone who wants to lead and carry out various assignments, primarily within the Central management of Line Replaceable Units, in order to develop and adapt operations in accordance with the needs of the customer and user. You will participate in both internal and external projects to ensure functional operation for the customer. The role also involves specifying the requirements regarding the support systems used in the operations. Tasks are performed independently and in teams.
The position involves travelling within Sweden.
Your qualifications
You have a high degree of personal initiative and enjoy being a driving force in the department's work. You have the social ability to communicate with people and the ability to transfer knowledge to others. Ideally, we are seeking a person who has actively worked with development and improvement efforts.
You are humble and contribute to a pleasant working environment. We expect you to be committed and structured, and to adapt easily to new fields.
Since work is often performed in close collaboration with customers, professionalism and understanding of the customer's needs are essential.
Ideally, you have a university degree with a focus on logistics or equivalent. It is advantageous if you have experience within the field of logistics from the Swedish Armed Forces and/or FMV within the aviation field.
Good computing skills and experience of the Swedish Armed Forces' logistics system.
You are proficient in both Swedish and English and have no difficulty expressing yourself well, both in writing and verbally.
Driving licence required.
