OL - Logistics Centre Sweden operates three logistics centres and one common engineering function (OLL). We are around 500 people working with material supply to Scania's production units in Södertälje and Oskarshamn.
OLL's mission is to support the operational units in common engineering activities and strategic projects. The group has five employees whereof three logistics developers and two forklift coordinators.
Job Description
The work as a logistics developer at OLL is mainly about addressing long term improvement initiatives. As a common engineering function we develop methods that enables us to reach the next performance level. This includes method development, new technology/equipment and IT. The work is mostly organised as projects and assignments. Projects are often global and cross functional.
Your main tasks will be to:
• Develop common methods and processes within OL
• Lead projects and assignments in accordance with OL strategy
• Support local OL units in specific engineering activities
We offer a challenging position in a developing area where you will be able to influence and take own initiatives. You and your colleagues will contribute to lift performance in Scania's logistics centre operations to the next level.
Your profile
You have a master of science in engineering degree or similar, and preferably a few years experience of working with logistics or production.
To succeed in this role you need to have strong analytical skills, be communicative and good at collaborating with others. You need to be fluent in oral and written English. As a person you are structured and driven.
Project leader skills and experience from logistics is beneficial.
