Logistics and Supply Manager at Viasat AB!
Viasat is looking for a highly motivated logistics and supply Manager with experience from logistics.
The role includes full responsibility for our Scandinavian and Baltic territories and one of the main tasks is to develop and improve Viasat’s logistics structure for set-top boxes.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for Pan MTG Set-top-box purchase and logistics
• Compare forecasts to actual sales to spot trends
• Keep the stock level in line with the Viasat policy and guidelines
• Negotiate with and manage Viasat’s suppliers
• Develop the internal and external logistics structure
• Monthly cost reporting
• Budget work
• Responsible for the after-sales process in Scandinavia and the Baltics
• End-customer distribution of the Viasat packages
• Responsible for end-user box installation (negotiating prices, improving business, contact person)
• Sales and customer service support function for Scandinavia and the Baltics
• Create an understanding of demand planning in the countries to make our forecasting more accurate
• Improve current processes and routines to make the business more efficient
Requirements
• At least 1 year or more operational experience from purchase, distribution and logistics
• A financial background is also essential as there will be a lot of budget work and reporting to do
• Academic degree within a relevant discipline
• Excellent knowledge of excel is necessary
• Great communication skills
