The Nordic logistic function serves each of the local markets and consists of four Distribution Centres: Sweden (Nol), Finland (Helsinki), Denmark (Vejle) and Norway (Oslo), and in addition four Norwegian depots located in Stavanger, Bergen, Trondheim and Bodø. The central warehouse is located in Nol, Sweden.

The Logistic Manager is responsible for the Nordic Logistics organisation with 50 employees across the Nordic countries. The organisation can be divided into two parts, the Warehouse Management, which includes the physical stock handling in various warehouses and the supply chain management that includes procurement and control of the flow of goods. The function includes material procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection, and distribution.
The Nordic Logistic Manager has a close cooperation with the other Nordic functions as well as with the European Organisation. The position reports to the European Logistic Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
• Personnel responsibility for the Nordic logistic organisation.
• Responsible for the Nordic warehouses and their routines and processes
• Responsibility for purchasing and supply chain management
• Budget and cost responsibility.
• Ensure effectiveness, Cost control, Quality and EH&S (Environment, Health & Safety)
• Responsible for freight agreements
Requiremen:
The position requires a university degree in logistics or business administration and strong management skills and experience in leading large logistic organizations through change. Experience in international distribution and experience in Lean is required.
You must be fluent in English, both verbal and in writing and have excellent computer skills.
Personal skills:
As a leader you should possess good communication skills and have strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. You should have solid interpersonal skills and have a great interest in leadership and coaching.
You should also have the ability to set the right priorities and both have a holistic perspective as well as having a focus on the details. As a person you are engaged, humble and enjoy leading in a diverse and international environment.
