In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.
You will be working intimately with operators, technicians and other production personnel. Your focus will be on execution of mechanical maintenance in the factory.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Periodic inspection and maintenance of AGV's, ASRS, elevators and lifting devices.
- Inspect components for wear, vibration or improper lubrication, and so on.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems with appropriate tools.

Contribute to maintenance optimization

Perform extraordinary maintenance regarding internal and external parts of the property within specified intervals

Evaluate the necessary spare parts for the equipment

Being a key player together with the rest of the team to develop and maintain a safe work environment according to health and safety regulations on site.

Ensure that safety rules for maintenance activities are known applied by its team.

PLC & HMI knowledge is a plus

- Perform preventive maintenance on plant systems and equipment
- Initiate and complete technical activities leading to new and/or improved production processes
- Uses knowledge of PLC/HMI and motion control and robot software to troubleshoot equipment and make repairs. Uses knowledge of PLC to perform programming functions as required.
- Identifies trouble areas and determines corrective action.

Observes electro-mechanical and pneumatic devices in operation.

Possess electrical, computer literacy and ability to read and interpret drawings and maintenance manuals
