In Vårgårda, just an hour away from the Swedish car mecca, Gothenburg, we have our state-of-the-art Research and Electronics Manufacturing facility. Here, together with our engineers, we develop the next generation in modern manufacturing of radar and camera systems.

What You 'll Do and your responsibilities

You'll lead a group of operators and logistics engineer that secures that the daily flow from incoming goods to shipment to our customers is efficient. Additionally, you'll be responsible for improve existing processes, developing and implementing new processes and ways of working.

Example of operational responsibilities in this position:

• Ensure that we have a cost-effective material flow
• Support in developing and improving Veoneer's Supply Chain & industrialization processes
• Steer, monitor and manage improvements & strategic projects
• Life cycle responsibility for our packaging

You will manage a group of 7-8 persons and work close to both Operations and Warehouse management and their organization. You will also be part of Logistics Management Team.

As a manager at Veoneer you are responsible and we expect you to:

• Lead employees to organization targets and expectations and empower them to take in initiatives and responsibility

• Plan staffing levels and maintain employee work schedules and work load
• Secure a safe work environment where the work can be carried out without risk of ill health or accidents.
• Coach, mentor, and develop staff. Provide effective performance feedback through employee recognition, rewards, and disciplinary action
• Act as Employers represantative

• Experience within the Supply chain and management
• You have leadership skills and a long-term strategic mindset

• Good skills in English and Swedish, both spoken and written
• Ability to practice a high level of confidentiality
• General knowledge of various employment laws and practices and employee relations

Education

• University degree within Supply Chain, Logistics or relevant experience
