As logistic engineer you will be part of a team which is responsible to further improve the Lean logistics concept we have built up during the past years in Karlskrona. This means implementing systems and user-friendly tools to make the process more automated, transparent and efficient.
You will be reporting to the Team Leader Logistics.
Mission:
Logistic engineer for this function means that you will work as a supply chain developer.
Contributing to establish a lean logistics flow in line with 'Flow For Future' and represent in the implementation of new logistic systems and production optimizations. Maintain the process to feed the lines in an optimal way is a main target
You like implementing sustainable solutions, finding the best balance between production and supply chain processes and systems.
You're in favor of clear procedures that lead to a good and clean locations and stock management, improving FIFO and user friendliness.
Responsibility
You will support the implementation and organization of manufacturing concepts and systems, with the aim of ensuring the best practices.
In other words, you have the responsibility to create logistical processes that lead to exceptional customer satisfaction. In order to achieve this, you count on your broad scope and/or experience in production.
As such, you will be the competence keeper for the function of planner/call-off, that implies:
• knowing the processes, the way we do it in production
• updating the routines and the procedures for the above functions
• introduce new colleagues teaching theoretically the flow
• prepare the complete training plan: theory and practical training with the operations
• write the master spec for improvement of the tools, follow up consequently IT process and calls to have the system changed
• first aid point for issues with the implemented / improved tools
• lead innovation proposals / lean tools
• Continuous improvement is your motto.
Experience requirements:
• A relevant knowledge of, interest in and experience with the lean concept, especially lean - logistics.
• Expert in ERP systems and querying analyzing data. Knowing or willing to learn Movex
• Experience in leading / coaching people and able to lead by example
• Experience in leading projects and implementing IT tools
• Leader profile with strong organizational skills.
Educational requirements:
• Preferable a master in industrial engineering or economics. Supply Chain Management specialty is an advantage.
Knowledge:
• Fluent in Swedish and English (or willing to learn)
• Good knowledge of supply chain processes and policies
• Movex knowledge is advantage
• Expert in advanced excel
• Business intelligence
