Logistic Developer
Job description
The plant in Örebro is a competence center for Bucher Emhart Glass in complex machining processes with high quality focus and methods. We are now looking for a Logistic Developer. You will report to Örebro 's site manager and work close with the team leader and planning team.
You will have the overall responsible for the logistic development through the whole value chain. This means working with material-, production-, and capacity planning. You will also be responsible for the development of our planner 's processes and standards. You will work close to your colleagues, internal customers and other collaborators within the company, both Swedish and global.
Qualifications
Since the role as a logistic developer means different types of contacts it is very important that you have good teamwork skills. Also, it is important that you can work independently and focused. You have the capability to see the bigger picture and you have a high level of service level.
We are looking for a person that are interested in working with logistic and planning. You have a University degree in logistic, technique or other equivalent education. You have documented experience from working as a logistic developer or a similar position. It is meritorious if you have experience from developing reports, routines, queries and procedures within the planning processes for the manufacturing machining parts for glass industry.
You have a deep knowledge in BPCS ERP system or AS400 platform and working with excel. You have specific knowledge and experience to implement APS (i-planner or tactic software). It is meritorious if you have experience from working with transformation of ERP in a producing industry.
Since the work means international contacts it is important that you are fluent in written and spoken English. This is also our corporate language.
Summary of requirements
• University degree in logistic- and planning education
• Documented experience from working in the logistic-/production planning field (minimum 5 years)
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• High level of teamwork skills
• High level of self-management skills
