hela Sverige As our kingdom expands we are looking for somebody who has the drive to coordinate translation projects of all shapes and sizes.
Your role within our Kingdom
Our Localization Team is growing! So we are looking for a talented Localization Specialist to be part of a global team, working in a fun and dynamic environment.
Main responsibilities include:
• Coordinate localization projects for our game teams located in different studios and countries.
• Interact with team members, game teams, technical staff and vendor
• Actively participate in achieving team goals and supporting internal process and quality improvement initiatives
• Support our vendors in achieving high quality translations by being a link between them and our products.
• Manage reference material and set up a style guide and Glossary for game terms in all languages supported by King.
• Provide bug correction support pertaining to in-game text.
• Stay up-to-date of the company?s catalogue of games via direct contact with our game and share unit teams, with an eye toward continuously improving the quality of all in-game text, web features and marketing copies.
• Copywriting/proofreading the content of the games.
Skills to create thrills
• Proven experience as a translator/copy editor, or within Media Communication or Public Relations.
• Degree in Linguistics, communication or other relevant academic background
• Professional track record of project coordination and planning, administration or similar
• Problem-solving capabilities.
• Quality-and detail-orientation.
• Strong team player with a supportive attitude in a multi-language/multi-cultural environment.
• Ability to work independently, pro-actively and meet deadlines.
Tasty bonus skill
• Digital-Marketing background
• Native level of English, Turkish, Brazilian Portuguese or an Asian language is highly valued
• Strong interest in casual games and social medias
• Proficiency in translation memory tools (Trados, MemoQ, etc.) is a big plus!
• Strong interest in casual games and social media.
• Experience within the gaming, marketing or publishing industry.
