The Plate Heat Exhanger (PHE) factory in Lund supply mainly to Europe, Middle East and Africa and components to other factories within the product group PHE. We are close to 500 employees in Lund and we are now looking for a Local Strategic Purchaser.
About the job
The PHE Sourcing department is driving factory sourcing to meet key targets and to support the daily business. Our key responsibility is to secure a stable and effective supplier base from a Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost perspective.
About the position:Main responsibility is work with sourcing projects and initatives supporting the business to reach its objectives. In addition you will support colleagues within manufacturing Lund in their daily sourcing challenges.
You will be part of a small performance driven team with high expectations on delivering results. In a team of three you will:
Analyze the current supply chain and propose areas for improvement
Drive and participate in sourcing projects, also in a global environment
Secure the supplier performance in terms of quality, lead time, delivery on time and total cost for local suppliers
Cooperate with colleagues in the factory, R&D, Global Purchasing and Product Centre
The position requires 10-20 travelling days per year.

Who are we looking for?We are looking for a candidate who have a University degree in Engineering or Business, combined with commercial experience from purchasing and/or sales and marketing.

experience from the manufacturing industry
technical interest and/or understanding
excellent skills in English and Swedish
analytical and structured way of working
resultdriven and business oriented
