Seize the opportunity to take on a senior expert role, a key position in an organization that puts safety first. This job offers great opportunities to influence both your daily work and our entire organization. As Health and Safety Advisor, you will be part of our Health, Safety and Environment department. Your main mission will be to develop and ensure a safe work environment at HVDC in Ludvika. Moreover, you will secure continuous improvements within the health and safety field and cooperate with managers, ABB networks and authorities. You will:
• Take on an expert role in Health and Safety
• Train, coach and support the organization in Health and Safety issues
• Develop and manage the Health and Safety processes
• Secure that we comply with laws, instructions and the new occupational health and safety management system ISO 45001 (OHSAS 18001)
• Implement and follow-up Health and Safety-related plans and initiatives within ABB
• Work proactively, for example by analyzing and communicating lessons learned in the field of Health and Safety
• Collaborate with internal ABB Health and Safety networks
Apart from being a team player with the ability to engage people, you need:
• In-depth knowledge and an understanding of legislation in terms of Health and Safety
Knowledge of management system OHSAS 18001
• Experience from similar roles, preferably within the industry
• Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English
• A NEBOSH General certificate or equivalent
