AstraZeneca Sweden Operations in Södertälje is one of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturing sites in the world. The site supply to 100 different countries and contributes to ~40% of the total volume of AstraZeneca's sales, corresponding to $10B in sales revenues. The site has ~3500 employees. The site is also the primary launch within the AstraZeneca network and many of the products in AstraZeneca's exciting pipeline will be launched from Sweden Operations over the next 3 years.
The Local Process Champions for Purchase to Pay (P2P) and Sales Order to Cash (SOTC) belongs to the Planning Functions and works with many parts of the Sweden Operations organization and the wider AstraZeneca. You will apply Sweden Operations Business Process Governance Framework to ensure efficient ways of working within the area. The LPC will primarily act as a System Process Owner for Purchase to Pay Process in SAP but may also be accountable for some related Business Processes.
The LPC will work in close collaboration with internal Sweden Operations functions as well as other nodes in the AstraZeneca network, mainly in supply chain, IT and finance. The role leads and/or participates in projects locally and globally. You will also apply a LEAN agenda, driving system and process simplification and improvement initiatives. The LPC also contributes to the business by ensuring processes applied in the system is compliant, effective and efficient.
The work is executed in a global high-paced environment, with strong focus on cross-functional collaboration.
The role
Principal accountabilities:
Be a Subject Matter Expert for system processes for relevant process areas (purchase to pay and sales order to cash). Local site owner of the design of the process according to the agreed strategic direction including promoting use of system to maximize benefits of the system(s)
Apply Process Governance for the process, includingProposing, collecting and developing ideas for improvement
Document the process including steering/supporting documents
Perform Process Maturity Assessment for the process
Stakeholder management within the process network locally, regionally and globally including leading Super User forum.
Drive and manage changes to system processes
Ensure SOPs and training materials are in place for the processes
Own Business Continuity Plan for the processes
Support the lean culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and high performance
Actively contribution to the development of Local Process Champion team as well as customer teams
Lead and/or participate in projects
If needed participate in issue resolution of system related problems
Local Process Champion for SNC (Supplier Network Collaboration)
Minimum experience
Higher education with a Master's Degree from a relevant area, or Bachelor's degree with relevant work experience
Business Process Management experience
SAP ECC knowledge
Change management experience
LEAN experience
Experience from supply chain environment
Fluent English as well as Swedish both spoken and written
Preferred experience/requirements
Understanding of P2P and/or SOTC processes in SAP
SAP SNC and APO knowledge
GMP and GDP knowledge
Influencing and communication skills
Relationship management
