About the position
Epiroc Drilling Tools is now looking for a Local Master Scheduler to the Local planning department in the head quarter in Fagersta.
The main responsibilities are to conduct the Local Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) baseline for Rough Cut Capacity planning (RCCP), orchestrate the Master Schedule, validate and release suggested production orders for Production Scheduling and to manage, maintain and adjust Master Data in Scheduling tool and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for tasks not performed by Schedulers. You are also supposed to manage demand and supply forecasts and capacities to enable far sighted planning and short sighted scheduling.
In this position, you will assist Local Production Schedulers in their daily work and assist in Supply and Demand forecasting tasks. Together with Local Logistic Manager, facilitate Local S&OP Process meetings. You will communicate with up- and downstream stakeholders for process efficiency and SC Excellence Supply Chain Excellence, building on Epiroc Core values.
This position is an operational role and has a mission to review and challenge demand plan, production capacity and sourcing forecasts. In this role, you will be a part of a new company and be a part of building up a new team for future success and to develop a future strategy for the team.
You will report to Local Logistics Manager.
Requirement
To be successful in this position you need to be analytic with a holistic view. You have excellent communication skills and preferred to be networking with internal contacts. As a person you are interested to learn and teach, result driven and you continuously seeking areas to develop and innovate.
Formal requirements are:
- A university degree in logistic or equivalent.
- Relevant work experience in planning and scheduling.
- Computer skills.
- Full proficiency in Swedish and English both written and spoken.
