Since IT has a ever growing importance in running an efficient and sustainable organization, the Local IT Specialist will in its role be responsible for maintaining a well working IT environment within the Nordic Region (Sweden, Finland and Norway). This is a versatile role ranging from ordering, configuring and distributing new equipment to being present in one of our locations within the Nordic Region to support local colleagues or integrate a new location into the Nordex network.
Due to the high variation in IT skills throughout the organization it is essential to have an open minded and service oriented mindset for this role.
Within this role it will be possible to have a considerable impact on the efficiency of our business as well as maintaining a high employee satisfaction within the Nordic Region.
The role will require short term travel to locations within the Nordic region and sometimes to Nordex HQ in Hamburg, Germany or Pamplona, Spain.
Close cooperation with the HQ IT team will be required to maintain standards set by the company for IT systems.
> MAIN DUTIES/KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Ordering, configuration and distribution of new IT equipment
Laptops for Office Staff
Laptops for Technicians
Mobile Phones
IT accessories like screens, docking stations and keybords for example
Network components
Maintaining the Azure AD/Intune environment
Incident-, Problem- and change management via ticket system
Software support
Installation of necessary software
Support for software related issues (Windows, Office365, SAP and FortiClient for example)
Support validation and purchasing process for new software
Ensure traceability of IT equipment
Maintaining the network infrastructure within the region
On site support at the various Office, Service and PM locations within Region Nordic
for installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of network/communication equipment
Printer installation, commissioning and troubleshooting
Network intigartion of new offices
Troubleshooting of laptops, sotware and accessories
Ensure best possible resilience to Cyber Security threats
Educate staff on IT safe and efficient handling of hardware and software
Create necessary instructions and processes for IT relevant topics
> SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
> Education and Skills/Qualifications:
Completed vocational training (e.g. IT specialist with focus on systems integration) with appropriate professional experience or comparable qualification
Extensive knowledge of MS Windows operating systems (10, 11) and MS Office applications (Office365)
Extensive knowledge of MS operating system installation, imaging procedures and software distribution (MS Azure Intune)
Good knowledge of Unified Messaging (MS Teams)
Extensive knowledge of network topics (LAN, WiFi, WAN, VPN) and the corresponding network protocols (TCP/IP, NetBios, ...)
High level of commitment and service orientation
High degree of ability to work in a team
Fluent English (spoken and written)
