hela Sverige The site just outside of Malmö is one of the largest plants in the Nordics where we develop, manufacture and sell paint and coatings. Over 70 million liters of paints are produced annually and about 500 employees are based at the site and works to meet our customers' demands for high quality products and services. At the site the two biggest employers are Akzo Nobel Industrial Coatings, where the focus is on paint, varnish and stain systems for wood and metal coatings. For wooden products like windows, doors, cabinets, floors and furniture for customers like IKEA, Montana, Kärscher and Tarkett. Akzo Nobel Decorative Coatings develops, produces and sells paint with a focus on innovation and sustainability to consumer and customers via the well-known brands Nordsjö, Sadolin, Hammerite and Cuprinol.
Akzo Nobel Decorative Coatings develops, produces and sells paint with a focus on innovation and sustainability to consumer and customers via the well-known brands Nordsjö, Sadolin, Hammerite and Cuprinol that contributes to more colorful environments in the home and public. We have commercial operations in all Nordic countries and is a Nordic organization with head office at our site outside of Malmö.

What will you do?
As Local Commercialization Project Manager, you represent Supply Chain in new product introduction, deletions and product change and other supply chain related projects. You will develop and manage a clear project plan with scope, risks, budget, timings, and resources identified.
You become part of international team of 25 project managers (local project managers located at the production plants within DECO Europe and Africa and central project managers in case multiple plants are involved).
Your main tasks are:
• Define project plan "fit for purpose" that is aligned with the complexity of the project and supports "speed to market" to guarantee a successful launch.
• Ensure an appropriate technical feasibility is performed for the project.
• Ensure adherence to project management standards.
• Monitor progress and performance against the project plan.
• Communicate and report on the status, issues, and risks of the project.
• Perform stakeholder management to ensure these are informed and involved where and if needed.
• Manage risks and develop contingencies where needed.
• Support the organization in providing guidance on stage gate process, site capabilities, artwork process and process achieving efficient sourcing of products.
• Educate the business in best practice project management providing standards, tools and templates where and if needed.
The position is located at our site just outside Malmö, and you will report to the Commercialization PMO for DECO Europe & Africa.
Who are you?
We are looking for a person with a relevant University / Bachelor degree, 5 years of experience in project management, having experience with product introductions and supply chain projects in a multinational environment. Having understanding of relevant manufacturing and supply chain processes and experience in working with different systems and with good computer knowledge.
You have experience with the standard implementation stages and preferable PRINCE2 Foundation certified.
You need to have strong organizational skills to initiate, manage and successfully deliver a set of projects. Business acumen with understanding financials like costings and capex plans. You are experience with and ability to work with various functions like, Marketing, R&D, Procurement and Finance. You have strong communication skills with the ability to work at all organizational levels and have a good knowledge both Swedish and English.
A person with an open mindset willing to support and educate the organization to raise project management skill set. You highly value relationships and cooperation and enjoy working with other people. Understanding relevant manufacturing and supply chain processes with the ability to support in allocation and supply chain optimization initiatives. Results oriented to drive the project to completion.
