Purchasing at Husqvarna will be organized in several functions securing quality, delivery, cost efficiency and sustainability of supply to Husqvarna on a global level. One of the key functions within Purchasing is Commodity Management, which focuses on managing all direct material commodities and related commercial relationships with suppliers.
The local buyer supports the commodity teams in managing local suppliers, as assigned.

• Support commodity groups that have no local presence, as assigned
• RFQ coordination and management that is not advanced purchasing related including gathering drawings and samples where needed for suppliers
• Related to PPV activities to obtain competitive quotes
• Market studies for any assigned commodity
• Coordinate/attend local supplier meetings where Purchasing presence is required and Purchasing Site Manager is unavailable
• Support resolution of invoice issues that cannot be resolved by the Controlling function when requested
• Support local activities when Commodity management is not available
• Assist Senior Commodity Managers in budget process and activities lists coordinating with commodity managers and advanced purchasing as necessary
• Expense purchase orders as needed for samples, scrap related or other expenses not handled by controlling
• Transition support for factories during the organization change.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
You have a BS degree or equivalent background & experience and three years or more of purchasing experience, preferably in sourcing and commodity management positions. You are fluent in Swedish and English, written and oral, additional languages are an advantage.
Crucial skills for this position is:
• Strong planning, organization, analytical, and problem solving skills
• Skilled negotiator and proficient understanding of the strategic sourcing methodology
• Proficient in managing supplier relationships, including relationship building, performance, development and integration
• Knowledge and experience with software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office) including presentation and database applications.
• Written and verbal communications skills
• Strong interpersonal skills (e.g., tact/diplomacy, listening, negotiation, etc).
• Understanding the importance of customer service and internal stakeholder management
