About the position
As our new Linux Technician, you will work from our offices in Karlskrona, as a part of our Network and Security Operations Centre. The team you are to be a part of is responsible for the management - monitoring and maintenance - of the company's network architecture and infrastructure. This includes, among else, operational security administration, but also monitoring and response of both our internal and production environments.
You will work closely with the Outpost24 developers to supply them with systems and platforms that they need to further perfect the Outpost24 products, and make sure that the company's data and environment is secure.
The position includes being on-call, and you will be placed on a schedule where you one week at a time will need to be available to respond to any eventual incidents.
Who are you?
For this position, we want you to have a bachelor's degree or a diploma from a higher vocational education in a relevant field of study, alternatively what we deem to be a corresponding experience from working with system administration.
Through your education and/or experience, we want you to have ensconced at the least elementary, but preferably good, knowledge in/about:
* Ansible
* PF
* Unix/Linux (meritorious with OpenBDS and/or CentOS)
* TCP/IP
* LAN/WAN infrastructures
* Common OS Services
* Routers/Switches (meritorious with JunOS and/or EOS)
It is beneficial if you have previous experience from working with system administration, SOC, NOC or security related work with network and/or IT infrastructure.
For this position, you need to be fluent in both Swedish and English (verbal and written).
