Then we may have the perfect job for you! We are Compuverde, one of the fastest-growing Swedish IT companies, and we are currently looking for a Linux specialist to join our office in the beautiful archipelago of Karlskrona, in southern Sweden.
This job opportunity is an attractive mix of the old (Linux) and the new, since Software-Defined Storage is a rapidly expanding sector, that is seen as the future of the storage industry.
ABOUT THE POSITION
We are looking for you who are driven and want to work with improving our product that is based on Linux as well as maintain our 300 server / 17 PB datacenter that we use for developing and testing only. For this full-time position, you will provide assistance in improving the Linux part of our product, but also be able to troubleshoot relevant hardware and networking issues in our datacenter. You will be working in a learning-environment alongside your colleagues and you are expected to take a great deal of responsibility.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
• Very good knowledge of Linux!
• Good knowledge in networking, storage, scripting and hardware is also very important.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Swedish is a plus, but not a must.

You are a knowledgeable and experienced Linux specialist. You are driven and independent and have experience from working with Linux environments. You are a good problem solver and have a genuine interest in technology. To succeed in this role you also need to have good communication skills, be committed and engaged.
