The responsibilities of the Linux Developer include:
Meeting with key stakeholders to gather information about requirements.
Predominately creating designs and designing and writing code.
Collaborating with other engineers, delivery lead and designers.
Requirements
Strong C++ programming but would consider C depending on other experience.
Linux Application development experience.
Flexible attitude, Easy-going nature, and a willingness to learn.
Good problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Desirable:
git version control.
Bash scripting.
Experience with Qt or similar graphical application framework.
Experience performing application development with any of the following languages: Rust, Go, Python.
Experience performing Unit testing.
Experience with networking.
Experience with complex inter-process communication.
Experience managing continuous integration, e.g., Jenkins.
Experience with yocto.
