Volvo Penta is happy to announce that we are now extending our department and hiring one Line Project Manager to our department Parts & Service Engineering. A Line Project Manager who is experienced in development processes and who is ready to take action.
About us:
Parts & Service Engineering is a department within the Volvo Penta Global Parts & Services organization that is responsible for development and support of:
Aftermarket diagnostics tools and software distribution tools for production
Workshop information
Installation instructions
User manuals
Spare parts information and engineering
We are now enforcing the organization with employment of one Line Project Manager in ambition to engage product development projects in early phases and streamline how we plan and commit our activities to product projects.
Your main responsibilities and tasks will be to:
Lead the Parts & Service Engineering funnel meetings where we onboard new projects and activities
Guide and support our four departments in estimations, planning and reporting
Act as Parts & Service Engineering's speaking partner with the Aftermarket Project Management organization
Report workload status short term and long term
Provide input to budget
Who are you?
To be successful in this position you need to be service minded, emotionally intelligent, well organized and have excellent communication and networking skills. As a person you are analytical, solution focused and comfortable to work both independently and in teams. Volvo Group development process (DVP) competence and/or Volvo Penta business knowledge is meriting as well as competence in project management.
You need to have curiosity and drive to take on new possibilities and you have the drive to challenge existing structures.
