Brikk is an animation studio specializing in character-driven storytelling in both 2D and 3D. We are passionate about making engaging and visually compelling stories that touch the audience.
Since the start over ten years ago we have produced over one thousand productions for clients worldwide. We make everything from advertising campaigns, Youtube series, infomercials about climate change, and action-packed game trailers for clients like Mojang, TED Talks, Greenpeace, Iron Gate Studios, and Raw Fury to name a few.
We are now looking for an experienced Line Producer to join to team.
LINE PRODUCER DUTIES
The Line Producer is responsible for the schedule, budget and resources for their appointed project(s). This role will supervise as the head of production for all departments on an appointed project and report to Executives at Brikk. This role is responsible for leading the production process, setting pipelines, and ensuring successful delivery of shipping packets, communication to animation studios, and leading Post Production to final delivery. This is a Senior role.
• Work with the Producer, Creative Leads & Director to keep track and manage designated project's global schedule and production pipeline.
• Create and supervise the overall production schedule on appointed projects from pre-production through final delivery.
• Act a liaison between Brikk and potential/current co-production studios.
• Work with Executive Producer and Creative Director to manage the day-to-day of the production.
• Ensure that the production teams across in potential different companies perform according to expectation.
• Create and deliver interim reports to Brikk Executives.
• Establish new production processes for Brikk studio as needed. Tracking production progress and updating production schedule on ongoing basis.
• Understand the creative goals of the show & studio, and balance the pressures of the production, creative vision, and finanical.
• Partner with the Creative Executives and Recruitment to hire artistic resources.
• Bring in opportunities from overseas and other studios through their network.
• Draft and edit contracts as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• A minimum of 8 years' experience in Animation Production, with studio experience. Credits on major projects.
• Proven ability to evaluate the creative talent of individual artists and production companies, including evaluating artwork, digital media, and technical capabilities.
• Understanding of Production Processes, bonus for Shotgrid. Know how to navigate through 2D animation software.
• Strong communication skills with multiple studios, partners, and teams and across timezones.
• Experience across the whole pipeline (Development to Post Production), especially in Scheduling, Budgets, Hiring, and Delivery. Experience setting up a Production pipeline in 2D animation.
• Knowledge of 2D Animation in TV and Film across various art styles.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and writing skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask.
• Positive attitude and ability to be flexible in a constantly evolving environment.
• Proven ability to solve problems and get along with a wide variety of personalities.
• Team player ready to do what is asked, teach others, learn, and be apart of a changing team.
