Ericsson Supply Site Borås is also responsible for the global deliveries of Ericsson products from Sweden and all returns flow within Ericsson.
Ericsson Distribution Centre - Ryda (DC) is a Consolidated Warehouse for Store Packed Goods (SPG) within Ericsson AB. The DC is located at Site Ryda in Borås. The DC consists of Inbound Operations; Warehouse and Outbound Operations; Warehouse Capability and Operations Planning and Control.
The DC is responsible for handling incoming goods, warehousing and shipments of packed customer orders and is a vital part of the Ericsson operation.
We are now recruiting a number of First Line Managers to the Warehouse and Outbound Operations within the DC organization.
As First Line Manger within Warehouse and Outbound Operations you are responsible for storing and picking of goods within the warehouse, organizing the goods for distribution and the loading of the goods. You are also responsible for our stock taking accuracy in the warehouse. The organization is working 4 shifts and you will have the responsibility for one of the shifts. Each shift will consist of approximately 20-25 blue collar employees.
You will report to the Manager of the Distribution Center.
You have a management experience and/or good leadership skills. You enjoy working closely to the operation and your team, as well as your stakeholders.
You know how to manage professional relationships to achieve the best results.
Furthermore you have the ability to act proactively and see what has to be done. Applicant should be able to handle a fair amount of stress and have good social competence.
We think you have following qualities and knowledge:
• fast in taking decisions based on facts, and implementing those
• encourage learning and sharing of best practice
• good communication and presentation skills
• good knowledge in LEAN principles and how to run an operation in a cost efficient way
• enjoy working in a multi cultural surroundings
To qualify for the position we think you have driving license for forklift.
