About the position
Symphony Project is an HR change initiative reaching all TD/BA/GF and all countries in our clients concern. Change management in the project is organized within a global Change Management Team and local Country Teams.
We are now looking for someone who will take the lead on communication. In the role as Symphony Project Communication Lead, you will be a report to the Head of Change Management. You will become part of an engaged Change team contributing to the realization of the Symphony Project vision - to make the Volvo Group HR solutions more people centric and make it easy for leaders and employees to perform through simplified ways of working. You will also be working together with the Chief Project Manager, who is responsible for the complete project, and be part of the Solution Coordination forum with the project stream leads.
Key responsibilities:
• Develop communication strategy and plan that support reaching the project vision and the change strategy.
• Drive communication implementation towards Project stakeholders, such as Sponsors, HR Professionals, Leaders and Employees for the Symphony Project.
• Support the Project Country teams with guidance for country specific communication
• Content creation and creative writing across internal channels, e.g. editorial content, newsletters, films, project presentations, and other communication assets.
• Analyze business insights about stakeholder groups and draw conclusions about what they mean in terms of the content you create.
• Contribute with new ideas and new ways to increase relevance for our audiences.
Your profile
To be successful in this role you have extensive knowledge of communication and strong business acumen. You have a hands-on approach and are capable of quickly switching between strategic thinking and operational creating. We believe you are a team player with a service-oriented mindset, great networking skills and the ability to inspire others on all levels of the organization. Educational Qualifications and experience:
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree or similar degree in related field
• Proven track record from working in a similar role, preferably including experience from working in a project environment
• Excellent writing and storytelling skills and the ability to create compelling messages
• Ability to identify and analyze business and audience needs to deliver messages via the most appropriate mix of channels
• Knowledge and experience of change management and change communication
• Good knowledge of content and layout design tools such as Adobe PhotoShop and
InDesign:
• Good knowledge of video production and editing
• An eye for detail and layout
• Fluent in English
