Open position: Line Manager, Application Management within Order to Delivery Skövde
The Application Management Line Manager is responsible for all HR activities and accountable for all deliveries from the group. The group consists of about 20 employees and is working with applications in the Order to Delivery area for Volvo Global Trucks Operations and Volvo Cars Corporation. The responsibility of these deliveries lies with Service Delivery Managers who report to the line manager.
Main responsibilities:
• Accountable for quality and cost for all production within the group
o assigned applications and products
o assigned projects
o assigned studys
• HR (recruitments, salary setting, competence development, PBP)
• Finance (accountable for budgets and production results)
• Accountable to reach KPI targets and other performance targets
• Accountable for implementing directives from Global Functional mgrs
o processes and other working methods
o structural changes and sourcing decisions
o implementation of competence development plans
Functional responsibilities, related to Site Sweden, are likely to be added to this position
Line Manager General profile:
Managers within Application Delivery need to have the ability to create an efficient and trustful day-to-day cooperation. Since Application Delivery is a matrix between global functional responsibilities and Application Delivery site responsibilities it is a requirement on every manager in the organisation to actively cooperate in a way that bridges the potential gaps that are inevitable in every matrix organisation. It is also essential that all applicants have a strong quality focus and a personal drive to satisfy customer requests.
This position requires:
• Broad IT background
• Leadership experience
• Ability to establish and maintain good relations with our internal partners
• Good knowledge about our customers business
• Good knowledge in the development of our area of responsibility
Required leadership skills:
• Have the courage and ability to communicate visions and objectives.
• Have capacity to execute against set targets.
• Lead through Volvo IT values (respect, professionalism and spirit) to create an attractive workplace.
• Have a good capacity to plan and delegate.
• Have an interest in and capacity for business development.
• Strong communication skills
• Strong language skills in Swedish and English
