hela Sverige We are now looking for a Life Cycle Assessment Specialist to one of our large customers in the environment department. Preferred starting date is as soon as possible and duration of the position is 12 months.
Our customer works proactively to increase the environmental and energy performance of products and processes. In a central R&D team closely linked to the rest of the organization; tools, methods and standards are developed to address environmental and energy issues. The challenge is to consider and factor Sustainability in day to day decision-making. The approach is to translate life cycle assessment (LCA) methodology and data into practical tools and information integrated into existing systems and processes.
We are seeking a person to join the team with in environment department. This person should be highly motivated to work with development, implementation and application of Life Cycle Management (LCM) methods and tools both in an R&D and a factory environment.
Key Tasks
• Perform LCAs on wide range of products and applications - focusing on how components contribute to improve customers' environmental performance.
• To drive knowledge creation through environmental assessments with methods such as LCA.
• To support the integration of Life Cycle management in the organisation, by interpreting and translating LCA results into decision support tools.

Required Background
• University or equivalent technical education in engineering
• Training in LCA.
• Practical experience of conducting LCA studies.
• Experience from manufacturing industry, supply chain, process and product development is an advantage.
• A self-motivated, proactive team worker with good communication, team leading and facilitation skills.
• Good ability to speak and write in English; a second or third foreign language is an advantage.
