Job Description
With the purpose to strengthen the H&M brand and explore new business models for meaningful growth, the New Development department brings together central functions Special Collections, Partner Relations, Circular Business Models, and External Brands.
We are now looking for a Licensing Specialist, where you will be part of the Partner Relations team that manages partnerships within entertainment, music, toys, gaming, fashion design etc., and supports the Business Units in building product collaborations and licensing assortment.
As a Licensing Specialist, you will be part of a close-knit team that works cross functionally and assures the smooth running of partnerships. This role is responsible for Royalty Reporting and Invoice handling, coordinating license trademark Labelling, and other contract management tasks such as coordinating important documentation for Sustainability, Compliance and Import/Export. The role also supports on contract negotiations within these areas.
Additionally, you will co-lead internal trainings on how to work with License products, and provide support and share expertise to the buying teams and to our partners on a daily basis.
Your main responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Royalty reporting and forecasting from internal systems on a monthly and quarterly basis to partners, in accordance with agreed contract terms. Co-lead financial audits by partners.
Invoice handling and payments.
Secure trademark appearance (labelling & packaging) on products and in sales channels. Assign requests to internal label department, coordinate approval from License holder and support Supply chain in how to apply.
Secure routines for product compliance requirements and sustainability compliance for licensed products, together with Sustainability Responsible for external partners.
Coordinate documentation for import/export, taxes, and customs for license products, operated by Supply Chain & regional teams.

Qualifications
As a person, we believe that you have a strong business mind-set and are great with numbers. You are organized and meticulous and enjoy taking on the role as coordinator and administrator. You are service minded and triggered by problem-solving.
To be successful in this role we see that you have:
Excellent communication skills
Analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to turn analyses into actions.
Earlier experience within planning, controlling, or accounting is a merit.
Knowledge of different systems such as Power BI
An interest in a broad role touching all aspects of Licensing. Previous experience with Licensed products is meriting.
Interest to work independently and drive own tasks.
Experience of working cross-functionally with different stakeholders and building strong relationships. An understanding of supply chain is meriting.
Fluency in English, both verbal and written

Additional information
This is a Fulltime position placed in Stockholm, starting as soon as possible and you will report to the Head of Partner Relations and Licensing.
