We are a multicultural school with close to half the staff and over half of the students having an international background. This mix of cultures makes for a very fun and engaging workplace.
As our librarian you will be responsible for the maintenance and development of our library and a special research/study room annex. You will develop the range of books and other materials on offer according to our students' needs and interests. You will be responsible for encouraging good reading habits and for developing their reading and research skills. You will also run and develop the study room and help students with their school work. It is vital in your work that you believe in and can actively implement the IES Ethos.
Vi ser gärna att du har ett genuint intresse för och erfarenhet av barn och ungdomar, liksom av biblioteksarbete i en mångkulturell miljö.
Goda IT-kunskaper och språkkunskaper är meriterande.
Som person vill vi att du är kreativ och kan arbeta självständigt och i grupp. Samverkan är naturligt för dig och du har ett gott och professionellt bemötande.
Examen i biblioteks- och informationsvetenskap eller likvärdig utbildning är önskvärt. Vi kommer att lägga stor vikt vid att du har personliga egenskaper som vi bedömer passar vår verksamhet.

We have grown in size each year and in January 2015 we had approximately 820 students in years 1-9, making this the largest compulsory school in Jönköping County. Internationella Engelska Skolan is a leading independent school group (friskola), reaching academic results far above average.
