Unit/Department Description:
Husqvarna Legal Affairs is charged with handling all matters pertaining to legal, intellectual property, risk management and insurance, as well as environmental matters within the Husqvarna Group. We are 25 colleagues in 6 different locations globally.
Position/Job Description:
We are looking for a legal trainee, who will handle all kinds of legal matters within our organization. We foresee that you will stay with us for 2-3 years, before you move on to another position within the legal affairs organization.
Essential Duties:
You will concentrate on international matters, especially in Eastern Europe. You duties will include work within our anti-counterfeit task force, drafting and reviewing intellectual property agreements, perform legal investigations and reviews and in general assist the other lawyers within our global organization, all with emphasis on matters in Eastern Europe.
Preferred qualifications:
Academic degree in Law from an Eastern European university, and if you have post-graduate degrees, it is a merit. You should have degrees emphasizing your interest in European and Intellectual Property matters, preferably in several jurisdictions.
Skills and Capabilities:
You need to be proactive and able take your own initiatives. You must be flexible and be able to handle both small and big matters with the same enthusiasm. It is crucial that you have proven legal skills and a sound business judgment.
A general knowledge of the legal environmental in Eastern Europe (especially Russia) is mandatory. International working experience is a merit.
Other required key values are an open mind, professionalism, positive attitude, open communication, respect and integrity.
You will be working in a fast-paced and ever-changing business environment and you need to be willing to change and also capable of driving change.

Reporting Relationship:
You will report directly to the Group's General Counsel, but you will work with colleagues on all levels in the organization.
Languages
A very good knowledge of business English and Russian is mandatory. If you have working knowledge of other languages it will be a strong merit. Although Swedish language skills are not strictly required for this position, we would expect you develop those during your work with us.
Location
Stockholm and Huskvarna, Sweden. In the later stages of your traineeship you will be expected to travel.
