About this opportunity

Are you a tech-savvy legal professional, or a tech specialist ready to shift into enhancing legal team operations with digital tools and data? Or experience in using and developing legal technology solutions, such as document automation, workflow automation, discovery and AI/technology-assisted legal review? We are now looking to welcome a Legal Operations & Information Manager, focusing on legal technology and automation, to continue to build and transform Ericsson's Group Function Legal Affairs & Compliance (GFLA). The position reports to the Head of the Legal Operations & Information unit, and will require creativity, adaptability and drive to build legal technology and automations to enhance our operations.

The Legal Operations & Information unit was formed in 2019 to drive the evolution of our operating model and co-ordinate the execution of change, targeting improved impact and efficiency. Our core responsibilities include operations and strategy development (including financial planning), external legal service provider management, and information & knowledge management (including digitalization & legal technology implementation).

What you will do

In this role, you will craft, design, and optimize the design and delivery of legal automation and data & technology use cases. In addition, you will:

Drive legal support for implementing new legal technology systems in contracting and commercial areas, including 'coding' template agreements for document automation, building automation workflows, and visualizing data sets
Collaborate with GFLA legal counsel to create, collect and update our knowledge management assets such as templates, internal memoranda, and checklists
Together with the team, design and coordinate legal knowledge management projects, systems and trainings
Support related our unit's projects, as required


You will bring

Your personal qualities are important for us, and we believe you are enthusiastic about learning, pay attention to details and adapt quickly to change. As part of the team we value collaboration to reach results but also to work individually to prioritize and ensure progress. Furthermore, you have practical experience of using technology to simplify, automate and improve processes.

In addition, we believe you have:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree. Preferred areas of study include Law, Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, or equivalent
Experience from a law firm, legal service provider, in-house legal department or legal technology vendor
Experience with legal knowledge management processes and systems
Practical knowledge of automation tools and frameworks such as HotDocs, Contract Express, DocAssemble and/or Microsoft's Power platform
A certification or advanced training in data analysis, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or software development will set you apart
Desire to grow and learn about our business, Ericsson and how our legal work is delivered
Ability to network and collaborate with others, across diverse cultures, geographies, and time zones
