hela Sverige Our European Legal and Regulatory Team is looking for a senior lawyer with data privacy expertise to join their team!

The European Legal and Regulatory Team works closely with Nasdaq's regulated financial services businesses on all legal matters. This includes compliance with rules and regulations, regulatory filings, business and strategic initiatives, policy initiatives and more.
In this role, you will be supporting Nasdaq's global data privacy team as well as our data driven businesses, on all legal and regulatory aspects of data privacy. Responsibilities may include:
* Develop policies, guidelines and instructions related to data privacy on a Nasdaq group as well as local level
* Develop data privacy notices and Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)
* Provide legal advice in relation to privacy risk management across the Nasdaq group
* Contribute to data privacy awareness training
* Provide legal advice in connection with privacy breach and DPA reporting
* Liaise with Data Privacy Officer, where relevant
The Best-Suited Candidate
* Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience within data privacy law, combined with an understanding of the need for the protection of the integrity of our customers, employees and vendors
* Experience from regulatory reporting, preferably within data privacy
* Able to communicate complex regulations and legal matters to the business in easy to understand and relevant terms
* Able to work and prioritize autonomously in a complex and dynamic environment
* Well-versed in English and able to communicate clearly both orally and written.
* Degree in Law
* Background in the financial technology sector a plus
