As a member of the Legal Support department of DeLaval, your overall responsibility will be to provide legal support to the various units of the DeLaval Group, on a global level. More specifically, the work includes:
• Drafting contracts and other legal documentation
• Review and negotiation of agreements, local as well as cross-boarder relations
• Litigation and claim management, in cooperation with local external counsel
• Educate business colleagues in corporate governance matters, compliance and other key legal issues
You will part of a team of lawyers in Sweden, USA, Brazil, Russia and Poland and will report to the Director Legal Support, DeLaval International AB. Your work place will be the DeLaval head office in Tumba. The position includes travelling abroad.

Who are you?
We see that you ideally hold a Swedish Master in Law and have at least 3 years experience from a law firm or as inhouse legal counsel. You have extensive knowledge in contract law. The dairy market experience a technology shift with a new range of information management products and services. Knowledge in privacy law and experience from work in IT related matters is therefore meriting. DeLaval is a market leader, which makes competition law competence a valuable asset.
As a person, you are efficient and happy to take own initiatives. You have a lot of energy and are willing to go the extra mile to add value to the internal client's business. You are accustomed to a high work load and can keep to agreed deadlines. You are good at prioritising and apply your legal skill with due regard to the commercial context, focusing on the critical factors when delivering results.
You communicate well and influence effectively. You speak Swedish and English fluently and have good legal document drafting skill in both English and Swedish.
