hela Sverige The Legal Advisor works in the legal department of a Division or Business Unit and supports the bid process and projects in execution by assuming responsibility for all legal aspects from the Invitation To Tender (ITT) until the end of the warranty period.
YOUR ROLE
You will be working in our Contracts & Legal Affairs department in the Rolling Stock business. Based in Stockholm or Västerås you will be supporting the business in the Nordic market.
In this role you will be a key player in the business rather than having a supportive role. The main focus of your role is to support the bid process and projects in execution by assuming responsibility for all legal aspects, e g;
• Pre-tender related work; pre-qualification, drafting of pre-tender agreements, memorandum of understandings,
• Tender related work; assessment of ITT's, drafting tender documentation, obtaining internal approvals, contract negotiations in relation with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, partners and other stakeholders,
• Project related work; Assists Project Management, Procurement and other functions in connection with contractual and legal issues with a view of maximizing opportunities and minimizing risks, throughout the life of a project and manage project-related litigations and claims,
The role also includes managing legal corporate activities for the legal entities through which we operate.
Your Challenges
In order to succeed in this role you must feel comfortable in working in an international environment and manage many different types of cases in parallel. You will have a large number of interfaces both internally and externally which places high demands on your communications and stakeholder management skills.
Education: University Law Degree (LLM);
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience;
Comprehensive understanding and good knowledge of legal and contractual areas that are relevant to the business;
Relevant experience in a practice-oriented and solution-focused organization requiring management of legal and commercial aspects;
English and Swedish at a business fluent level is mandatory.
